Felecia Kapoor

I graduated with my Associates of Applied Science Degree in December 2019 at PIMA Medical Institute, from the Occupational Therapy Assistant Program. The reason I went into the OT field was for my passion in pediatrics. Little kids have my heart and I am truly feel blessed to be able to make a career out of what I do and the impact I am able to have on my kids and their families. I continue to broaden my knowledge on various diagnoses through continuing education on topics such as implementing play-based therapy, sensory integration, and strategies for various behaviors (ADHD, Autism, Down Syndrome etc). Truly I am a giant kid so the fact that my job is laid on the foundation of play makes it easy for me to love what I do and do what I love. On my days off I love to spend time with my family and friends and make memories that will last a lifetime. I love that through my job I am able to help families and their children reach their goals to help them gain the skills needed to grow to be successful and reach beyond their potential.
